The X80-04-02 is a continuously-rated flashing-mode Xenon Beacon with red UV stable polycarbonate lens and an UV stable polycarbonate base. It is suitable for a wide range of local signalling applications where a low energy efficient solution is required. Xenon beacon (sometimes called strobe) is controlled via a PCB and put out a very brief but bright flash of white light by ionizing and then discharging a large current through the xenon gas. The unit comes fully assembled and ready for installation and has two mounting options, stud mount or surface mount using a two piece fixing plate supplied. The LEDA125-02-01 is a continuously-rated industrial LED Multifunctional Beacon with UV stable polycarbonate lens and UV stable ABS plastic base. The LEDA125 series is suitable for industrial applications, where low maintenance and long life are the pre-requisite requirement. An advantage of the continuous mode is that it can be controlled via a remote source (ie. control panel/PLC etc) offering the potential of remote flash option. The design for the DC unit allows for termination inside the enclosure via an M12 sealing grommet in the base. The AC units are supplied with a 1m flying lead. The LEDA version incorporates two piezo buzzers situated in the base of the unit that are synchronised to the light mode (the buzzers can be controlled separately of the light on the DC version only) offering a combined audible and visual warning device. The FL40/D50/R/RN is a continuously-rated Xenon Strobe with visual alarm. It has flame-retardant ABS plastic enclosure and red flame-retardant polycarbonate plastic lens. All units are supplied separate from the back box for ease of installation. The back box must be mounted with the two cable entries at the top or bottom. The back box should be mounted to a reasonably flat surface or to a standard wiring box, using any of the internal mounting holes. A gasket is supplied, should the surface be uneven or if the unit is to be used in wet conditions. To maintain the integrity of the weather seal, the cable must be fitted using a suitable sealed gland.
